Thank you to both IJCHM and Polly for this meaningful monumental work-of-art writings. I am going to say the Picasso of writings. Two of them - just like DS.

*Sniff* Thank you, sincerely. I felt this one a lot.

Needed this today, as I struggle to go into my office and continue doing my weird, doesn't-make any-money-but-makes-me-happyy-shit. Also this --> WE MOVE AWAY FROM THE THINGS WE LOVE BECAUSE OTHER PEOPLE MISUNDERSTAND OUR RELATIONSHIP TO WHAT WE LOVE <-- is exactly how I feel about being a yoga teacher.

Do you have an Instagram? I shared this but I think I tagged the wrong person

Thanks for asking. I’m @heatherhav and also @realaskpolly but (in keeping with the theme of this column!) I don’t update the Polly account enough! Either is fine - thanks for tagging me.

Fun has been a very important word to me in the last 6 months or so. My dad died ten days ago and the last words in his will, a message to his children and grandchildren were to have fun. Also, celebrating yourself. As soon as I came to that part of your response I stopped, remembered an amazing thing a stranger said to me about my work a few days ago and posted about it on Bluesky. Love you, Polly. Thank you for being a balm and a lighthouse too!! xo
