Oh god oh god oh god oh god this was written for me. Except for being gay; we filed for divorce in January (a present for my 50th!) and I live alone and I write and the beach is too hard to get to to enjoy but god! This is me! I have no discernible bubble/pod, yet I’m sociable and people seem to like me, just not enough to want to bubble with me. I can go weeks without seeing a face if I don’t reach out, and then it’s a masked face. And I need to read it every day and try and squeeze out of this pupa.
